Brian & Mark Karmelich
(Music, Lyrics, Book)

Brothers Brian and Mark Karmelich toured for 10 years in their Los Angeles-based band Sauce and wrote more than 200 songs for the band. A college campus and club favorite, their storytelling songs and catchy musical hooks led them to shift to musical theatre.

Their first musical, "One Dakota", depicted the struggle of one man's goal to unite North and South Dakota into one state. One Dakota was produced in regional theaters in California, and developed a strong cult following.

"Jesus' Kid Brother" has had multiple productions, and has earned Brian & Mark a nomination for their book and score from the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. Jesus. Kid Brother received rave reviews from multiple publications (including Variety & Backstage), and was twice picked as Critics. Choice by the Los Angeles Times.

CD Releases by Brian and Mark Karmelich include Hardtail Records release One Dakota, and Lizardman Records releases The Cake Bake Disaster, and Sauce Where Are You Going. Their songs have been featured on multiple college and commercial radio stations, including KROQ in Los Angeles.

As well as their produced musicals One Dakota and Jesus' Kid Brother, Brian and Mark are currently in development two new musicals.

Brian and Mark currently perform in Southern California with their latest band, The Virtual Campfire, performing new material and songs from upcoming musicals.
