Brian's Equity Waiver theater credits include the music direction for How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying at the Colony Studio Theatre and Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along at the West Coast Ensemble, for which he received a Garland award for Music Direction from Backstage West and a Best Vocal/Musical Direction nomination from L.A. Weekly. He reprised his role as music director of Merrily for the Reprise! Broadway's Best series at UCLA, a production which starred Teri Hatcher, Jean Louisa Kelly, Hugh Panaro and Stella Stevens. He has conducted Into the Woods at both the Whittier Center Theatre and Moorpark College and Merrily We Roll Along (there's that show again!) at Cal State Northridge. Glory be to Lehman Engel.
