Scott Dreier (Pontius Pilate) is thrilled to be making his debut at ICT and
working again with Jules and Brian. Scott is best known in the LA theater
world for playing Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, a role he has played 7
times including South Bay CLO, Santa Barbara CLO, Riverside CLO, Poway
Performing Arts Center, and Broadway in the Park. He recently created the
role of Harry in the premiere workshop of Some Kind of Wonderful, a musical
of Carole King Music produced by the Mama Mia team. Scott is well known as
Smudge in the San Diego Company of Forever Plaid, a role he played for two
years. He has also directed two productions of the show at Moonlight
Amphitheatre and Santa Barbara CLO. Other favorite roles include Scarecrow
in Wizard of Oz (Cabrillo CLO), the Baker in Into the Woods (Moonlight
Amphitheatre), Hero in A Funny Thing Happened (South Bay CLO), Motel the
tailor in Fiddler on the Roof (Santa Barbara CLO), David in Company
(Directed by Jules Aaron at West Coast Ensemble-Backstage Award), Bud Frump
in How to Succeed... (Riverside CLO, Moonlight Amphitheater, Starlight
Bowl), and Papa Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Globe Theater).
Non-musical roles include Max in Lend Me a Tenor, the Gentleman Caller in
The Glass Menagerie, and Eugene in Broadway Bound. Scott is a proud member
of Actors' Equity Association. TV credits include: Malcolm in the Middle,
Greetings from Tucson, General Hospital, Wings,
and the film Enchanted on
Showtime. Scott has appeared in numerous national and regional television
commercials. He has been the guest vocalist for Pasadena Pops and sang back
up for Barbra Streisand at her last two concerts in LA. He has recently
released his debut solo CD of Big Band, Broadway, and Pop songs featuring
his San Diego "Forever Plaid" cast mates and a duet with TV's Katey Sagal.
He is proud to be donating a portion of the CD proceeds to The Susan G.
